Hello, I’m Lynsey

I live in Suffolk, enjoying the sea breeze with my Husband and two children Luna and Hux. You will most likely find me in my workshop in Aldeby, in the countryside with a nice Latte and hands full of flowers (or my children), there is never an in-between!

A Passion for Floristry

Floristy has been my passion since the age of 18 (I’m now 34), and it has been a large part of my identity for a very long time. My daughter Luna was born in 2013 and I decided I no longer wanted to be contained to the “traditional” way of floristry, so structured and similar within a flower shop. I took a job as a wedding coordinator at a local venue shortly after, and I have continued this venture for 10 years now, based at White Dove Barns in Suffolk.

Both are truly my calling and it doesn’t feel like a “job”, I still pinch myself this is my work! I believe this gives an added advantage to all my couples. You can pick my brain on almost anything wedding-related! Seating plans.. I’ve got you. Timelines… I’m here! Need an on-the-day coordinator… I’m your girl.

Dear Luna Florals

After a few years of only coordinating, I was itching to get back into my Floristry Career but with a new outlook. I knew I wanted Dear Luna to be different, to feel different. To provide the highest quality florals and services with a personal feel and designed to perfection. I launched Dear Luna Florals in 2017. Dear Luna Florals name came as a letter to my daughter Luna, who by this point watched everything I designed with flowers in awe… Dear Luna… never give up on your dreams and always do your best. Seems a bit mean not having a Dear Hux after my son was born right…. don’t worry I have a floral preservation company for this!

Over the last 7 years Dear Luna Florals has successfully grown more than I could of imagined, with a friendly and approachable approach to the industry I am so lucky many of my couples have been recommended or met me at a previous wedding. I can’t wait to be part of many more couples special days in the future.
